Welcome to Grove City Baptist Church's blog! Grove City Baptist Church is a growing church in the heart of one of Knoxville’s blue collar communities. All are welcome to come as they are, although we pray that no one leaves as they were. We believe that the Bible is the final word on all things concerning life and morality, and that as such it is imperative that we teach and preach it clearly, plainly, and without apology. Our music consists of the old familiar hymns of the faith, which have a depth of meaning & reverence not found in much of the Christian music of today. Dead formalistic music is also to be avoided, so we strive keep our song services vibrant. We have a choir that sings regularly, and we always have room for a few more voices. We firmly believe that the services of the church are for the encouragement of the whole family. For this reason, we provide nursery care for infants and toddlers as well as Bible classes for children, teenagers, and adults. There are plenty of opportunities for service in these and other ministries such as our Pastors’ prayer breakfast held monthly, and soul-winning and visitation meetings each Saturday. If you are looking for a place to grow spiritually and fellowship with other believers, this may be the place for you. In any case, if you choose to visit us, you can expect a warm welcome and a spirit of Christian love.
